The upcoming arrival of the all-new 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 has people across all automotive circles buzzing in anticipation. The mid-engine sports car gives a powerful performance and has an aerodynamic design that’s sure to turn heads.
The Corvette C8 is the first Corvette to place the engine behind passengers. Moving the engine to the rear of the car provides more weight to the back and gives the 2020 Corvette more power. Paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the 6.2-liter pushrod V8 engine achieves an impressive 490 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque.
The Corvette C8 is also the first production Corvette to feature dual fuel tanks. With both the frunk and the trunk, the car can hold 13 cubic feet of cargo space. There’s also 51 cubic feet of passenger volume for plenty of room to spread out.
The interior of the car is comfortable and contains convenient features. The Electronic Transmission Range Selector is made up of a few buttons to press when shifting. An 8-inch touch screen also sits at an angle, making it easy for drivers to use.
