Michigan is a wonderful time of the year with lots of fun to be had both in the snow and indoors. If you’re looking for some winter activities in Detroit to enjoy, there are plenty to choose from. Here are a couple of activities that you should consider adding to your to-do list this winter.
Quicken Loans Winter Blast Weekend
From Feb. 7 to Feb. 9, watch as Detroit transforms into a winter wonderland for the Quicken Loans Winter Blast Weekend. This free festival has a range of family-friendly activities, including a thrilling slide and a zip line. You can also listen to live music and eat delicious meals from food trucks.
The Frankenmuth Rink at Campus Martius Park
Make the most of the season by strapping on your ice skates and heading to Detroit’s Frankenmuth Rink in the heart of Campus Martius Park. The rink is open throughout the winter season, and it only costs $10 for adults and $8 for children and seniors. After ice skating, you can dine in one of the nearby restaurants in the area.
We at Heidebreicht Chevrolet hope you enjoy participating in these activities and more during winter. Be sure to visit our service department for seasonal maintenance so you can handle the icy or snow-covered roads.
