Fill a Trax with Cards Campaign at Heidebreicht
Heidebreicht Chevrolet is working together with our local Romeo Post Office and the Women’s Military Association annual drive to send much needed items and greeting cards to soldiers. Our overall goal is to break the Guinness Book of World Records by sending the most cards from one location, which is 3,000 cards. Heidebreicht’s goal is to fill the Chevrolet Trax in our showroom with greeting cards!
All it takes for you to help us is to come by during business hours between Feb. 3 – 14 at noon, to fill out a greeting card, either your own or one of ours. We’re open Mon. and Thurs. 9 – 8, Tues. and Wed. 9 – 6:30, Fri. 9 – 6 and Sat. 9 – 3. When you stop by to help us reach our goal, you’ll be warming the heart of a deserving soldier, making his sacrifice seem even more worthwhile. Isn’t it the least we can do for those doing so much for us?
“Romeo’s Snow me the Love” Event Sat. Feb. 7
The Romeo Merchants Restaurants Professionals Association (MRP) is having a first-time event on Saturday, February 7th called “ROMEO’S SNOW ME THE LOVE” in the historic village of Romeo. The event will begin at 10:00 AM with a variety of hometown fun and activities ending at 5:00pm with our WINNERS being announced. The Welcome Center will be located at the River of God Church at 230 E. St. Clair St. in Romeo.
Golden Ticket Candy Bar Contest
Look for the Golden Ticket in candy bars (just like Willie Wonka!) on sale throughout the downtown. You have the opportunity to be one of the ten lucky ticket holders. The Grand Prize is $500. This raffle is brought to you by Tote Bags of Love, Romeo MRP and Juliet Chocolates who joined together to make this candy bar special and scrumptious. All profits from the candy bar sale will be donated to the Women’s Marine Association who are collecting items to fill Military Care Packages for delivery to our troops. Package items will be collected at the Masonic Temple during the event for the drive which is February 14.
Chinese Auction
Stop in at the Welcome Center to get a downtown map and pick up information for the event. They will be playing the movie FROZEN all day along and you can view all the fabulous Merchant Baskets & Gift Certificates for our Chinese Auction or buy your 50/50 Raffle Tickets for $1 or 6 for $5. Chinese Auctions are the best because you get to choose which item(s) you want to win! Raffle Basket and all event contest winners will be announced from 4:30 to 5:00 pm. at the River of God Welcome Center.
Fun Activities for the Family 10 am – 5 pm
The fun doesn’t stop here. This day is packed full of a surprising variety of creative activities for all ages, with our troops in mind. Here is a list of them by name. You can explore the details of any or all activities by stopping by the Welcome Center or visiting the Romeo MRP Association website. So come on out to Romeo on Sat. Feb. 7 for some Home Town Lovin’ and show those troops we love them too!
