flyer

At Heidebreicht Chevrolet, we know that contributing to the community is vital – and local animals are part of the community, too. We’ve chosen to sponsor the 2015 Valentine’s Telethon to support the Michigan Humane Society (MHS), so local homeless animals have a chance to live and be placed in the homes they deserve. We urge you to also show your support for the Humane Society Telethon in the season of love.

Watch the Humane Society Telethon on February 12

You can watch the Valentine’s Telethon on Thursday, February 12. Anchorperson Alicia Smith (WXYZ-TV Channel 7 Action News) is to host the event, which will be presented by Purina. The telethon will be aired from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. during commercial breaks. You can make donations to this fundraiser starting now and through the end of the event on February 12. Your donations can be made 24 hours a day by calling (855) MHS-GIVE (647-4483). You can also go online to contribute by visiting www.michiganhumane.org/telethon.

Your Support Is Essential

According to CJ Bentley, Senior Director of Operations for MHS, community support is crucial to the Michigan Humane Society. The MHS (a nonprofit organization) does not receive funding from the government and is not connected with any national humane societies. It relies instead on the kind contributions of supporters. By giving on February 12, you can help the MHS to “save animal lives throughout the year.”

Community Donations Save Animal Lives

When you watch and support the telethon, you can make a critical difference for local animals that are homeless, as well as for those that have been neglected or abused. The Michigan Humane Society strives to end homelessness for companion animals, and it continually works to promote humane values within the community. Donations from the community enable the MHS to rescue countless animals and give them the care they need to survive.

MHS “Mega March for Animals” Coming in October

Heidebreicht will also sponsor the MHS Mega March for Animals on Sat., October 4, 2015 at Stony Creek Metropark. This is the largest fundraising walk for animals in the state and one of the largest in the nation! Corporate and family teams will be walking with their companion animals to raise critical funds for the Humane Society. So stay tuned for updates and feel free to contact our new car sales team for more details about either of these important events or to inquire about purchasing a new Chevrolet.
