Sponsoring Youth Baseball in Romeo, MI
One way we have found to proudly serve the local area is by sponsoring youth baseball in Romeo, MI. We have donated T-shirts and sports equipment to the Washington Area Athletics Association, so that Romeo area kids may continue to play youth baseball. In addition to shirts and equipment, we have made financial contributions to this great athletics group. Our league is Washington Baseball. We’re delighted to do what we can to help the Washington Area Athletics Association.
Exciting Events for Children and Their Families
In addition to participating in league games, the kids can also take advantage of some exciting opportunities. Our sponsorship enables young league players to enjoy public recognition during a day at a Detroit Tigers game. We want the kids to know that they are valuable members of our community, and this is one way of demonstrating that concept to them.
The kids also have an opportunity to participate in a baseball clinic. This clinic is a great way for the kids to learn how to hone their baseball skills. They are able to visit Comerica Park as part of the experience.
Last year, we sold raffle tickets to benefit the baseball league. The Quirk family got to drive home in a Chevrolet Traverse! We were thrilled to participate in that event and to present the Quirks with their new vehicle.
