Chevrolet is expanding its lineup of electric vehicles with a stylish SUV and a full-size pickup set to debut in 2024. The Equinox EV seats up to five passengers and is available in five trim levels. The Silverado EV offers the performance and capability you’ve come to expect from Chevy trucks, as well as the efficiency of an all-electric vehicle. The Equinox EV and the Silverado EV are coming soon to your local Chevy dealer.
1. Chevy Equinox EV
The Equinox EV is a compact SUV that’s fun to drive and loaded with technology, including a large infotainment display that puts controls within easy reach and available customizable ambient lighting. Luxurious touches like heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are available as options. And there’s plenty of room for cargo and other belongings. The Equinox EV offers up to 57.2 cubic feet of cargo space and features an innovative dual-height cargo floor.
This fully electric vehicle, which GM estimates will have 288 horsepower, offers a range of up to 319 miles. That means the Equinox EV is capable of short drives around town as well as longer road trips. The Equinox EV comes with DC fast-charging capability, which can add 70 miles of range in just 10 minutes of charging.
2. Chevy Silverado EV
The fully electric Silverado EV is perfect for work sites, off-roading, or tooling around town. This is a capable truck with a maximum towing capacity of 10,000 pounds and a multi-flex tailgate that maximizes your use of the cargo bed. The primary gate can be opened with your key fob and folded down to prevent extra-long items from sliding out. An inner gate can be folded and used as a step or a workspace for laptops or blueprints.
Another practical feature of this truck is the underhood storage area, which allows you to stow bags and other items in an area of the vehicle that’s typically occupied by a combustion engine. The Silverado EV has a 440-mile range. It comes with DC fast-charging capability, which allows you to add an estimated 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes of charging.
myChevrolet Mobile App
Both the Equinox EV and the Silverado EV can be connected to the myChevrolet Mobile App, which is the perfect way of managing your electric vehicle use. Use this app to plan routes, locate public charging stations, and pay for charging on the go. This app also allows you to control certain vehicular features from your phone.
