Beautiful Design
The Chevy Equinox has a well-designed exterior with a sleek body shape and a couple of bold features that’ll turn heads. Its LED headlights are highly sophisticated and look incredible with its large grille, and the car is available in eight colors. Two of the colors are new this year: Riptide Blue Metallic and Lakeshore Blue Metallic. The black bowtie emblem, gloss black roof rails, and gloss black window surrounds give the SUV a sophisticated look.
Inside, you’re looking at a jet-black interior that brings the sophistication of the outside over to the inside. The red stitching adds a pop of color to the cloth seats. Leather-appointed seats are also available. Black ice chrome accents also add some variety to the interior.
Tons of Interior Storage Space
The Equinox’s interior is functional as well as easy on the eye. When you fold down the back row, you’ll be able to fill 63.9 cubic feet of space with all your cargo. That’s enough room for approximately eight carry-on suitcases.
There’s also room to store some items beneath the rear cargo floor, so you can hide your most valuable possessions. Having that space under the rear cargo floor is also great if you’re traveling with a full car of passengers, as you’ll still have lots of storage room even when the rear seats are occupied. The rear seats also offer a 60/40 split, letting you travel with some rear seat passengers as well as extra cargo.
Lots of Standard and Available Safety Features
All Chevy vehicles have a variety of standard safety features. On the Equinox, you’ll find some such as forward collision alert, automatic high beams, lane keep assist, and teen driver technology. Additional available features include lane change alert, adaptive cruise control, and front and rear park assist. A rear vision camera is standard, but there’s also an HD surround vision camera available if you want more visibility.
Plenty of Advanced Technology
You’ll find a 7-inch infotainment screen in the middle of the dash, and it comes with wireless smartphone connectivity as well as several built-in features. There’s a Wi-Fi hotspot available, and built-in Alexa is also a great optional add-on to stay entertained and get information.
