The 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD offers six trim levels with a wide range of options that enhance convenience, appearance, and capability. Read on to learn about the most exciting features of the different Silverado 2500 HD trim levels.
WT 4WD
The base model Silverado 2500 HD comes with a 6.6L V8 gas engine matched to an Allison 10-speed automatic transmission. The exterior of the WT 4WD features 17-inch steel painted silver wheels, black door handles, and a black rear bumper.
Several safety and driver assistance features are standard on the base model Silverado 2500 HD, including:
- Forward Collision Alert
- Lane Departure Warning
- Automatic Emergency Braking
- StabiliTrak electronic stability control system
Custom 4WD
The Custom 4WD is equipped with the same 6.6L V8 engine as the WT 4WD. Both models can also be upgraded to the 6.6L V8 Duramax Turbo-Diesel, which delivers 470 horsepower and 975 lb-ft of torque. Changes to the Custom 4WD’s exterior include 20-inch machined aluminum wheels, body-color front and rear bumpers, and deep-tinted glass.
While carpeted floors and rubberized vinyl floor mats are available options on the WT 4WD, they’re standard features on the Custom 4WD.
LT 4WD
The LT 4WD has the same engine options as the lower trim levels but features several noticeable differences on its exterior. It comes with chrome front and rear bumpers, body-color door handles, and a tailgate equipped with EZ Lift Assist. Drivers also have the option to upgrade to 20-inch high-gloss black aluminum wheels.
LTZ 4WD
AutoTrac 2-speed transfer case with push button controls is a standard feature on the LTZ 4WD. This feature allows drivers to switch between multiple two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations to accommodate different road conditions. On the interior, the LTZ 4WD comes equipped with a rear window defogger and a manual tilt and telescoping steering column.
In addition to the safety and driver assistance features on the Silverado 2500 HD’s lower trim levels, the LTZ 4WD includes Hitch View and the In-Vehicle Trailering App.
ZR2 4WD
The ZR2 4WD has some of the most significant mechanical differences between the other trim levels. This trim level includes a rear electronic locking differential and the ZR2 high-performance suspension package, which features a lift and Multimatic DSSV dampers.
High Country 4WD
Visually, the High Country 4WD stands out for its 20-inch eight-spoke polished wheels and 20-inch blackwall tires. It also includes chrome assist steps and a Chevytec spray-on bedliner. Front and Rear Park Assist, Bed View Camera, and Trailer Side Blind View Alert are some of the additional standard safety features on the High Country 4WD.
