Your Guide to the 2022 Chevy Blazer

Since the 1960s, the Blazer name has symbolized off-road style and family-friendly popularity. The attractive and versatile 2022 Chevy Blazer embodies lively performance, Camaro flair, and plenty of add-on features to let you customize this prime Chevrolet ride!

Blazer Basics

The 2022 Blazer is a mid-size Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) that seats up to five and offers decent cargo space. Seating includes standard sliding seats on the back row and 60/40 split-folding seats on the second row. The four trim levels, the 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier, average about 25 miles per gallon (MPG) combined for city and highway driving.

New for 2022

Chevrolet discontinued the former 4-Cylinder, 193-Horsepower engine to make a 4-Cylinder, 228-Horsepower version the base Blazer engine for 2022. The L and 1LT trims were also discontinued, and the Chevy Blazer’s exterior received new sleeker headlights plus a show-stopping sculptured look. Camaro aesthetics such as exterior chiseled shaping and interior rounded air vents finesse the 2022 Blazer lineup.

RS Camaro Touches

Of all the 2022 Blazer trims, the RS boasts the most Camaro-like accents. Black leather with red stitching is an eye-catching interior feature, and there are also black and red exterior details. You can opt for 21-inch gloss black wheels, black and red finishes on the grille, and a two-tone roof to add more signature Camaro elements.

More Options

A High Definition (HD) rear vision camera is an available add-on to the standard Chevy Safety Assist Package on all 2022 Blazer trims. For more elective features, you could consider adding Front-Whee-Drive (FWD), a 3.6-L V-6, 308-Horsepower engine, or a glass sunroof on the 3LT.  Add-ons for the 2022 RS Blazer include All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) and adaptive cruise control.

The top-of-the-line Premier trim offers an optional 3.6-Liter V-8 engine upgrade from its standard 2-Liter turbo engine. You may also select heated front and rear seats in the Premier trim.

2022 Chevy Blazer Tech

The 2LT features Teen Driving Technology with parental control settings, plus standard auto on/off headlights. The 2022 3LT model has a blind-spot monitor that comes standard. Enhanced voice recognition, remote start, and hitch guidance views are some optional tech features in the Blazer lineup.

Infotainment Highlights

The Chevy 3 Infotainment System is standard in all 2022 Blazer trims and includes a responsive 8-inch touchscreen display that’s simple to use. The Blazer trims also have Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and four USB ports. Optional infotainment add-ons include a Bose 8-speaker upgrade on some models, Bluetooth audio streaming, and a Wi-Fi Hot Spot.
