One of the many things that sets Heidebreicht apart from the competition is our commitment to the local community. We realize that we live in the Washington, Michigan area just like you; and as such, we have a responsibility to the community to help where we can and set an example for others to follow. Our community involvement spans everything from supporting youth programs to sponsoring women’s clinics. We are also very proud to support our military, and do everything we can to support the men and women that do their part to keep America free.
We are incredibly lucky to live in the land of the free, and here at Heidebreicht we realize that none of this would be possible without our military. Unfortunately, this means many men and women sacrifice their time by spending months away from their loved ones, and sometimes they even sacrifice their health and lives. We see this as a common sense issue – those that give so much to keep us safe deserve our support!
The military is made up of men and women from all over this great country – including quite a few from right here at home. Supporting your local community means also showing your support for these people, as many local families are impacted by their loved ones currently deployed. Ask around, and it will not take long for you to find someone who loves someone who is overseas fighting for our freedom.
Because of this, Heidebreicht is always looking for ways to support the military – often with your help! We conduct fundraisers, such as our recent Light up the Night for Our Heroes event, where members of the community were able to purchase lanterns with all proceeds going to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, which serves our wounded veterans. We also are always collecting cell phones for soldiers; you can donate cell phones year-round at several locations at Heidebreicht. Every cell phone donated helps a soldier keep in contact with their loved ones, a privilege that sadly not all soldiers overseas have without our help.
Another way that Heidebreicht works to support our military is by taking part in the GM Military Discount program. This program makes it possible for us to work with members of the military to find a dependable vehicle that fits their needs and their budget. The military discount program is available to all active duty members, reserves, veterans, and retirees of the Navy, Army, Marines, Air Force, National Guard, and Coast Guard – and includes their spouses as well. The discount can even be combined with current offers, which helps us to work out the best deal possible for those who work so hard to keep us safe. What we have come to realize is that anyone living in the United States benefits from the sacrifices that the members of our military have made, both past and present. It only makes sense to support them as much as we can, and to give back to the community that they have fought so hard to keep safe.
