The Chevrolet Equinox and Blazer are two of the best SUVs for families, and they’re about to get even better. Next year, the Equinox EV and Blazer EV arrive at Heidebreicht Chevrolet in Washington Township, Michigan.
Chevrolet has been rolling out more and more electric vehicles thanks to its Ultium battery platform, a versatile vehicle platform designed specifically for EVs. It has also been designing a software platform for Chevy EVs, known as Ultifi. This system will make upgrading and personalizing vehicle software much easier, as well as help to keep it updated so your software will always be cutting-edge.
The Equinox and Blazer are particularly exciting candidates for these new advancements. They are already well-loved, with the Equinox being the second best-selling vehicle in Chevy’s lineup, behind only the Silverado. According to Steve Hill, the vice president of Chevrolet, “Providing an affordable EV option in the industry’s highest-volume segment proves Chevy is going to make EVs available to everyone.”
Both the Blazer and Equinox in their current forms are excellent family vehicles, offering plenty of seating and cargo space along with the latest in safety and connectivity technologies. The addition of EV versions, and the technological investments that such a development represents, can only add to their appeal.
